Excellent clay inkstone , I can thoroughly recommend this large inkstone as it keeps the ink in perfect condition for months with the clay lid on , much longer than the slate inkstones I have. In fact I love it so much I bought a second one from Oriental Arts Brighton (I do a lot of ink drawing) The lady there was extremely helpful to me, and I am very grateful to her for locating and acquiring these beautiful inkstones.
