The word of Money in Chinese is read as QIAN (meaning as before or in front of ) The metal coins is first seen around 7th century BC in China. Gradually it changed from different shapes/ sizes into a round coin with a square hole in the middle. Ingot is known as Yuan Bao (means a perfect treasure=may all wishes come true) The bucket (in Chinese)is a symbol of enhancing. The three items together is symbolised Never ending prosperity for the keeper.
At the bottom of the object is stamped as” Made in Ming Dynasty China”. I guess this is a reproduction in 1950’s.
