Jiang Nan

Jiang Nan ( 江南means south of the river)

One of the Chinese water way(長江＝Long River) used by a large Chinese population. It is one of earliest settlement in Chinese history.  Lot of village or cites are built near the water. It has a unique scenery. Over the years, famous writers or painters try their best to describe it with their own brush stroke.  (pp.48)
