3″ Zhung Kwei

Solid brass statuette of Zhung Kwei holding a bat, left foot standing on monster; 3″ tall. Zhong-Kui (known as Ghost buster in China); his picture is hung in houses and other buildings to scare away evil spirits and demons. He appears with a black face and messy beard and holding a sword. Occasionally a bat appears in his surroundings to symbolise offering wealth in return.
