Go game (gift set)

Go game is originated from China over 2,500 year ago. In Chinese is known as WeiKi(圍棋). In Japan is called Igo. This is a strategy game with a fairly simple rules. Two players place their pieces alternately until all the vacant space were fill. The rule to win is according to how the match is set at the beginning. If none of the player wish to resign from the game. The game can carry on until one of the playing finish all his (her) pieces. It might take months to comply.

No one know how exactly the game began. In Chinese legend, over 3000 years ago, a Chinese King organised a strategy for taking over the territory from his enemies by placing two colours stones on the table.   According to the archaeologist, the earliest set shows that the game is played on a board with a 17×17 grid. Over the years the game is set for 19 x 19 grid and become a standard board.
